Der italienische Staat kann seinen Verpflichtungen gegenüber heimischen Unternehmen nicht mehr nachkommen, und die Steuerbasis erodiert mit hoher Geschwindigkeit. Die drittgrößte Volkswirtschaft Europas ist damit offiziell überschuldet.[/fusion_text][fusion_text]Nicht viel besser sieht es aktuell in der zweitgrößten Volkswirtschaft Europas, in Frankreich aus, wo es über den Sommer erneut zu einem heftigen Einbruch der industriellen Investitionstätigkeit kam.
Aber auch die größte Ökonomie der Eurozone droht im dritten Quartal in die Rezession abzugleiten, nachdem die deutsche Volkswirtschaft bereits im zweiten Quartal um 0,2% schrumpfte. Diese Eintrübung der wirtschaftlichen und politischen Gemengelage ging an der Gemeinschaftswährung Euro nicht spurlos vorbei. Gegenüber dem US-Dollar wertete die Einheitswährung seit ihrem Jahreshoch Anfang Mai um über 5% ab. Gold- und Silberinvestoren konnten von dem Rückgang des Euro-Außenwertes profitieren, da beide Edelmetalle in US-Dollar gehandelt werden und die Euroschwäche somit automatisch zu Preissteigerungen bei Gold und Silber in Euro führt.[/fusion_text][fusion_text]Der Silberpreis setzt seine Erholung momentan mit etwas weniger Dynamik fort, als der Goldpreis, da das weiße Edelmetall neben seiner klassischen Rolle als Krisen- und Absicherungswährung ein bedeutender Industrierohstoff ist. Über 60% der jährlich geförderten Silbermenge wird in der Fertigungsindustrie verbraucht.
